About Dr. Alka Sinha

Dr. Alka Sinha is a Sr. Consultant Gynecologist and Laparoscopic Surgeon at BLK-Max Super Speciality Hospital, New Delhi, where she also directs the FOGSI-recognized Endoscopy Training Centre.

She earned her MBBS from Patna Medical College (1995) and MD in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi (1999). She is a member of FOGSI, WALS, DGES and the Delhi Medical Council.

Her clinical focus includes laparoscopic hysterectomy (TLH), laparoscopic myomectomy, ovarian cystectomy, hysteroscopic adhesiolysis, Burch colposuspension and other minimally invasive gynecologic surgeries. She has extensive experience in laparoscopy, hysteroscopy and related procedures.

With over 25 years of practice, she has served as a senior consultant at various institutions including AIIMS, Jalaram Hospital, Westsite Clinic and BLK Hospital. Dr. Sinha has published numerous books and articles on laparoscopic gynecologic surgery and regularly conducts FOGSI-approved basic and advanced endoscopy training courses.
