Dr. Akshara Mishra

Dr. Akshara Mishra is a consultant psychiatrist practicing in Delhi with a focus on a humanitarian approach that combines pharmacological and psychological therapies. She completed her MBBS at Adesh Institute of Medical Sciences & Research in 2012 and obtained a DNB in Psychiatry from the National Board of Examination in 2017, training at MHC Trivandrum. During her postgraduate years she received further instruction in child psychiatry, behavior therapy, and deaddiction at NIMHANS, Bangalore.

Her clinical interests span anxiety disorders, depression, affective and emotional difficulties, child and adolescent mental health problems, and substance use disorders. She also provides anger management and behavioral interventions. Dr. Mishra served as a Senior Resident and later as Chief Senior Resident and Locum Consultant (equivalent to Assistant Professor) in the Department of Psychiatry at IHBAS Hospital, gaining extensive experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Currently, she consults at Manoshanti Mind Care in Madhu Vihar, Delhi, where she offers in-clinic and video consultations. Dr. Mishra is registered with the Delhi Medical Council (Registration No. 84583, 2018).
