Dr. Ankit Parakh

Dr. Ankit Parakh serves as a Senior Consultant in Pediatric Pulmonology, Allergy, and Sleep Medicine at BLK-Max Super Speciality Hospital on Pusa Road and Max Super Speciality Hospital in Patparganj, Delhi. With 24 years of overall medical experience and 19 years as a specialist, he focuses on respiratory and sleep disorders in children from newborns to 18 years.

He completed his MBBS from the University of Delhi in 2001, followed by an MD in Pediatrics and a DNB in Paediatrics from G B Pant Hospital and Moulana Azad Medical College in 2006. Dr. Parakh further pursued a Fellowship in Pediatric Sleep Medicine and earned the European Diploma in Paediatric Respiratory Medicine. He is a member of the Indian Academy of Paediatrics, Indian Medical Association, European Respiratory Society, and MANMS.

Dr. Parakh specializes in managing chronic cough, asthma, wheezing, cystic fibrosis, tuberculosis, interstitial lung disease, and suppurative lung disease. He has particular expertise in pediatric flexible bronchoscopy, pediatric lung function testing, and pediatric sleep studies. His clinical interests also include allergy testing and sleep disturbance evaluation.

His professional career includes roles as Registrar at Lok Nayak Hospital (2004–2007), Lecturer at University College of Medical Sciences and GTB Hospital (2007–2008), and Assistant Professor at Kalawati Saran Children's Hospital (2008–2013). Dr. Parakh is registered with the Delhi Medical Council (2002) and has received academic honors including gold medals in Anatomy and Gynaecology.
