Dr. Jatinder Juneja

Dr. Jatinder Juneja is a senior Rheumatologist and Internist practicing in New Delhi with four decades of clinical experience. He completed his MBBS at Christian Medical College, Vellore in 1982 and obtained an MD in Rheumatology from Charing Cross Hospital, London in 1991. He has held leadership roles including Director at the National Institute of Arthritis (1989–2018) and Chief Consultant at the same institute. He is also a past President of the Lupus Foundation and has served on the Executive Board of the Arthritis Foundation.

His clinical expertise spans the full spectrum of adult rheumatologic conditions, with particular focus on rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, juvenile idiopathic arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, and complex joint pain syndromes. He is experienced in antibody workups, tissue diagnosis, and individualized physiotherapy planning.

Dr. Juneja is affiliated with several professional bodies, including the Indian Medical Association, Delhi Medical Association, Punjab Medical Council, Royal Society of Medicine (UK), and British Postgraduate Medical Foundation. He has been honored as Honorary Rheumatologist to the President of India and is actively involved in research on newer anti‑pain pharmaceutical molecules. He currently consults at the National Institute of Arthritis, E‑5 Ground Floor, Bali Nagar, Delhi.
