Dr. L K Malhotra

Dr. L K Malhotra is a distinguished neurologist and a gifted clinician known for his fine clinical acumen and leadership. He currently practices as a neurologist at his own clinic, Malhotra Neuro Centre, located in Sheikh Sarai, Delhi. Previously, he served as Chief Neurologist at Vidyasagar Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (VIMHANS) in New Delhi.

He holds a DM in Neurology from the University of Delhi (1986), an MD in General Medicine from Nagpur University (1983), and an MBBS from Nagpur University (1980). His academic background is complemented by memberships in the Indian Academy of Neurology, Neurological Society of India, Indian Epilepsy Association, Indian Medical Association, and Delhi Medical Association.

Dr. Malhotra specializes in the diagnosis and management of headaches, migraine, Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, stroke, and sleep disorders. He is experienced in handling acute neurological emergencies and provides support to patients’ families dealing with chronic neurological conditions. His clinical services include video EEG, electromyography (EMG), nerve conduction studies, and neurovascular consultations.

With over 40 years of overall experience, including 38 years as a specialist, Dr. Malhotra began private practice in 1988 and established his own centre in 2014. He was honored with the T.P. Jhunjhunwala Foundation National Award for Medical Excellence in 2006 and has actively participated in national and international conferences, delivering talks and chairing sessions on neurology topics.
