Dr. Manjit Singh Paul

Dr. Manjit Singh Paul is a Gastroenterologist holding MBBS, MD in Medicine and DM in Gastroenterology. With over four and a half decades of professional experience, including thirty years dedicated to gastroenterology, he has established himself as a senior expert in the field.

He earned his MBBS from the University of Pune in 1979, followed by an MD in Medicine from the University of Delhi in 1986, and completed his DM in Gastroenterology at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh in 1993. He is registered with the Delhi Medical Council and holds memberships in the Delhi Medical Council and the Medical Council of India.

Dr. Paul has extensive expertise in diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal procedures. He performs routine endoscopy, colonoscopy and ERCP, and is adept at metallic stent placements in the esophagus, biliary and pancreatic tracts, liver biopsies, fine‑needle aspiration cytology from tumors, and liver abscess drainage. His clinical focus includes managing acidity, irritable bowel syndrome, various forms of hepatitis (A, C, D, E), inflammatory bowel disease and liver abscess.

He played a pivotal role in developing the Gastroenterology department at Fortis Flt Lt Rajan Dhall Hospital, Vasant Kunj, and has several years of teaching experience at the Armed Forces Medical College and Delhi University (Armed Forces R R and Base Hospital, Delhi Cantt). Currently, he consults at Max Super Speciality Hospital in Shalimar Bagh, Delhi, where he provides outpatient care and continues to contribute to the advancement of gastroenterology services.
