Dr. Avtar Singh Bath

Dr. Avtar Singh Bath (Maj. Gen. Retd.) is a distinguished Plastic Surgeon with over four decades of experience. He serves as a Senior Consultant and Head of Plastic & Cosmetic Surgery at BLK-Max Super Speciality Hospital, Pusa Road, Delhi.

He completed his MBBS from Government Medical College, Amritsar (1973), MS in General Surgery from Armed Forces Medical College, Pune (1978), and MCh in Plastic Surgery from University of Pune (1988). He also pursued fellowship training in microsurgery and cosmetic surgery.

His clinical interests include cosmetic surgery, general plastic surgery, microsurgery, and hand surgery. He performs procedures such as breast augmentation, vaser liposuction, torn earlobe correction, facial pigmentation removal, tattoo removal, and filler injections. Patients consult him for burns, hand trauma, microvascular injuries, and aesthetic concerns.

Dr. Bath previously led the Plastic Surgery department at Army Hospital (R&R), Delhi Cantt, and has held academic positions as Professor and Examiner for DNB and MCh programs. He has authored over 30 publications, served as President of the Association of Plastic Surgeons of India (Delhi Chapter), and received honors including the Sena Medal (2004), Vishisht Seva Medal (2008), and Doctor of the Year Award (2012). He is a member of the Association of Surgeons of India, Indian Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, and Hair Research Society of India.
