Dr. Manoj Khanal

Dr. Manoj Khanal is a Consultant Neurologist and Geriatric Neurologist with over 20 years of overall experience, including 14 years as a specialist. He holds MBBS, MD in General Medicine and DM in Neurology.

He completed MBBS from Assam University (2002), MD in General Medicine from Gujarat University (2007) and DM in Neurology from PGIMER, Chandigarh (2012). He is registered with the Delhi Medical Council (Reg. No. 35332, 2007) and holds memberships in the Neurology Association and Neurological Society of India.

His clinical practice covers epilepsy, stroke, headache, movement disorders, autoimmune disorders, CNS infections and Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy. He has performed thrombolysis on over 50 acute ischemic stroke patients, managed over 250 Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy cases, and conducted over 1,000 EEGs, 500 nerve conduction studies, EMG, RNS tests, 200+ Doppler/TCD monitoring sessions and more than 100 nerve and muscle biopsies. He has also delivered numerous seminars and journal club presentations.

Since 2012 he has served as Consultant Neurologist at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Shalimar Bagh, Delhi, with earlier stints at IHBAS (2007‑2009) and Biomec (2013‑2014). His work has been recognized with awards such as the 2011 case report on PKAN, presentations at national conferences, a book chapter on headache (2013) and a publication on neurogenic bladder (2013).
