Dr. Pankaj Kumar

Dr. Pankaj Kumar is a senior psychiatrist with over two decades of clinical, research, and teaching experience. He is the Chairman and Director of The Healers Psychiatry Centre and has held academic positions such as Associate Professor at Saraswati Institute of Medical Sciences and Ex-HOD at Goldfield Medical College. He also serves as a visiting consultant at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and Max Super Speciality Hospital in Delhi.

Dr. Kumar completed his MBBS from H.N.B. Garhwal University in 2005 and obtained his MD in Psychiatry from Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur, in 2008. He is a registered member of the Delhi Medical Council and holds memberships in the Indian Psychiatric Society, Indian Medical Association, Indian Association of Private Psychiatry, and the Delhi Psychiatric Society, where he has served as Treasurer and Executive Council Member.

His clinical expertise spans a broad range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety disorders, postpartum depression, nicotine dependence, anger management, marital counseling, and migraine. He is proficient in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), de-addiction counseling, and career counseling. Dr. Kumar has published over 70 articles in national and international indexed journals and presented more than 50 papers and posters at conferences.

With 15 years of dedicated specialist practice, Dr. Kumar has been recognized with awards such as the Dr. Amit Vohra Memorial Award (2011) and the Uday Award (2009) for outstanding services in psychiatry. He currently consults at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Patparganj, Delhi, on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
