Dr. Raj Kumar Srivastava

Dr. Raj Kumar Srivastava is a Head & Senior Consultant Psychiatrist and the Head of the Department of Mental Health and Behavioral Sciences at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Patparganj. With over three decades of clinical practice, he has dedicated 21 years specifically to adult and geriatric psychiatry, addiction psychiatry, and child guidance.

He completed his MBBS from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut in 1995, followed by a DNB in Psychiatry from the Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences (IHBAS), Delhi University in 2002. He also obtained CCST (U.K.) and served as a Senior Resident at IHBAS for three years.

His clinical expertise spans dementia, Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, depression, nicotine dependence, and substance use disorders. He also addresses adopted child syndrome and psychosexual disorders. Dr. Srivastava has been actively involved in research, national and international conferences, and has conducted workshops for general practitioners, teachers, and parents.

Since 2004, he has been associated with Max Super Speciality Hospitals in Patparganj and Noida. He is the founder and director of Reconnect Neuropsychiatry and Child Guidance Clinic at Surajmal Vihar, Delhi, providing comprehensive neuropsychiatric care for adults, children, adolescents, families, and the geriatric population. He is a member of the Indian Association of Psychiatrists and is registered with the Delhi Medical Council.
