Dr. Rajashekar Reddy

Dr. Rajashekar Reddy is a Consultant Neurologist with extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders. Over his career he has held senior positions such as Senior Consultant Neurology and Head of Unit at the Max Institute of Neurosciences, and previously served as a Consultant Neurologist at Fortis Hospital.

He obtained his MBBS from Christian Medical College, Vellore, followed by an MD in Medicine from the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh. He completed his DM in Neurology and also holds a DNB in Neurology from the same institution, underscoring his specialized training in the field.

His clinical practice focuses on conditions such as headache, stroke and foot drop, and he performs a range of neurosurgical interventions including lateral lumbar interbody fusion, vertebroplasty, total disc replacement, spinal cord stimulator implantation and posterior lumbar interbody fusion. He is also experienced in vascular surgery and laminectomy procedures.

Dr. Reddy currently practices at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket, where he consults patients six days a week. He has been recognized as a chairperson and speaker at numerous national and international conferences and has contributed chapters to textbooks and articles in various journals. He is an active member of the Indian Academy of Neurology, the Neurological Society of India and the Indian Epilepsy Association.
