Dr. Rita Bakshi

Dr. Rita Bakshi is a Senior Consultant Gynecologist and Obstetrician with over four decades of experience in women's health. She currently practices at Risaa IVF in Green Park, Delhi, where she provides consultancy and assisted reproductive services.

She completed her MBBS from Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi in 1984, followed by an MD in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from Vardhman Mahavir Medical College & Safdarjung Hospital, Delhi in 1990, and a DGO from the University of Delhi in 1987. Additional training includes a Fellowship in Gynaecologic Oncology from AIIMS, New Delhi (2002) and a Diploma in IVF from K K IVF Hospital, Singapore (2006).

Dr. Bakshi specializes in infertility management, IVF, ICSI, and other assisted reproductive techniques. She also treats conditions such as endometriosis and performs surgeries including laparoscopic ovarian drilling, oophorectomy, vaginal reconstruction surgery and copper T insertion. Her expertise extends to gynecologic oncology and genetic disorder diagnosis.

With 42 years of overall experience, including 38 years as a specialist, she has held positions such as Consultant at ADIVA (2001‑2007) and Senior Consultant at International Fertility Centre (2007‑2013). Dr. Bakshi is a member of the Indian Fertility Society, FOGSI, NARCHI, ESHRE and the Association of Female Genital Reconstructive Aesthetic and Microsurgeons of India. She has received various awards and recognitions for her contributions to minimally invasive gynecology and reproductive medicine.
