Dr. Rommel Tickoo

Dr. Rommel Tickoo is a Senior Consultant in Internal Medicine with 29 years of overall experience, including two decades as a specialist. He currently works at Max Healthcare, Saket and Max Healthcare, Panchsheel Park in Delhi.

He holds an MBBS from Dr. D.Y. Patil Medical College and Hospital, Navi Mumbai (1997) and an MD in General Medicine from M S Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore (2003). His professional affiliations include membership in the Indian Medical Association (IMA) and the Association of Physicians of India (API).

Dr. Tickoo’s expertise covers a broad range of conditions such as allergy, diabetes, head and neck infection, chicken pox, herpes, viral fever and typhoid. He is experienced in procedures like insulin-free management, nebulisation and various infection treatments. He has been elected as a member of the expert panel convened by the Union Minister for Health & Family Welfare in 2009 to formulate guidelines against H1N1 (Swine Flu) and serves as a panel doctor for immigration health checks for Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Additionally, he acts as a teaching guide for postgraduate DNB students.

Throughout his career, Dr. Tickoo has worked at prestigious hospitals including Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Indraprastha Apollo Hospital and Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital. His contributions have been recognised with Max Healthcare Awards for outstanding service and he has been active in media with numerous TV and print appearances.
