Dr. S S Murthy

Dr. S S Murthy is an Interventional Cardiologist with over 29 years of experience in the field of clinical and invasive cardiology. He currently serves as Director & HOD - Cardiology at Ayushman Hospital, Sector 10, Dwarka, and previously worked as a Senior Consultant in Invasive Cardiology at Fortis Hospital (FMRI), Gurugram.

He obtained his MBBS from Osmania University, Hyderabad in 1987, followed by a DNB in General Medicine (1995) and a DNB in Cardiology (2012) from the National Board of Examination. Dr. Murthy is a member of the Cardiological Society of India, the Association of Physicians of India and the National Academy of Medical Sciences.

His areas of expertise include complex coronary interventions such as cardiac catheterization, angiography, angioplasty, renal and peripheral stenting, pacemaker implantation, ICD & CRT-D implantation, and transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI). He has performed over 10,000 angiographies and more than 500 angioplasties to date.

Throughout his career, Dr. Murthy has been associated with prestigious institutions including Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, National Heart Institute, Escorts Heart Institute and Fortis Memorial Research Institute. He presently consults at Doctors' Hub Superspeciality Clinic in Gurgaon Sector 109, offering services like ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, Holter monitoring and mitral/heart valve replacement.
