Dr. Shrikant Badwe

Dr. Shrikant Badwe is a senior urologist and general surgeon based in Goregaon West, Mumbai. With a career spanning nearly five decades, he has served as a practicing urologist at BK Kidney and GI Centre from 1985 to 2014 and continues to consult there. He is recognized for his expertise in managing complex urological conditions and has held leadership positions in several medical associations.

Dr. Badwe completed his MBBS from the University of Mumbai in 1978, followed by an MS in General Surgery from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College, Sion, in 1981. He then obtained an MCh in Urology from the University of Mumbai in 1984 and a Fellowship of the International College of Surgeons (FICS) in 1984. He is a member of the Urological Society of India, the Société Internationale d'Urologie, and local medical associations in Malad and Goregaon.

His clinical focus includes the surgical management of urinary tract and bladder stones, kidney stones, benign prostatic hyperplasia, urinary tract infections, and other urological disorders. He also performs general surgical procedures such as appendectomy, anal fissure surgery, lipoma removal, and ingrown toenail surgery. Dr. Badwe is particularly noted for prostate laser surgery, open prostatectomy, and transurethral incision of the prostate.

Throughout his career, Dr. Badwe has received multiple honors, including the presidency of the Mumbai Urological Society (2016), the Association of Medical Consultants (2004), the Goregaon Medical Association (2010), the Malad Medical Association (2008), and the Yoga Vidya Niketan (2016). He is registered with the Maharashtra Medical Council (registration number 40744) since 1979.
