Dr. Sonia Lal Gupta

Dr. Sonia Lal Gupta is a Board Certified Neurologist with over two decades of experience. She holds an MBBS from Government Medical College Patiala and completed her Neurology training at New York Medical College, graduating in 2011 as one of the youngest neurologists worldwide at age 27.

She pursued specialized fellowships in Headache Medicine at the University of South Florida (earning Fellow of the Year) and Vascular Neurology at New York Medical College. She is board certified in four American Boards—Neurology, Vascular Neurology, Neurosonology, and Headache Medicine—and served as an Assistant Professor of Neurology at Loyola University Chicago, where she trained fellows and contributed to clinical research.

Her clinical focus includes headache disorders, migraine, vertigo, stroke rehabilitation, nerve and muscle disorders, and general neurological problems. She has presented at international conferences and co‑authored papers in health journals.

Dr. Gupta has been recognized with the Neurologist of the Year award (2014) and co‑hosts the NDTV health program Doctors on Call. She currently consults at MP Heart Clinic in Greater Kailash, Delhi, and Metro Hospitals in Noida.
