Dr. Tarun Sahni

Dr. Tarun Sahni is a General Physician with extensive expertise in Internal Medicine and also holds a background in Dentistry. Over his long career he has served in the Indian Navy and held leadership roles in hyperbaric medicine and medical ethics committees.

He earned his MBBS from the University of Pune in 1980 and completed his MD in General Medicine at the University of Bombay in 1992. His training includes graduation from the Armed Forces Medical College, after which he served the Indian Navy for more than ten years before opting for voluntary release to pursue civilian practice.

Dr. Sahni manages a broad spectrum of medical concerns, including viral fever, skin allergies, hives and diabetes. He provides services such as general health checkups, insulin therapy, infant and child nutrition guidance, nursing care and various skin allergy treatments. His surgical and treatment list reflects his focus on preventive care and chronic disease management.

With 46 years of overall experience, of which 30 years are dedicated to his specialist work, Dr. Sahni currently consults at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals in Sarita Vihar, Delhi. He is a member of the Apollo Ethics Committee, President of the Hyperbaric Society of India, and served as Chairman of the Asian Hyperbaric and Diving Medicine Association from 2012 to 2014. His registration with the Delhi Medical Council stands at 2360, awarded in 2000.
