Dr. Harit K. Chaturvedi serves as the Chairperson of Max Institute of Cancer Care, having joined Max Healthcare in 2009. He has been instrumental in building one of the largest and most renowned oncology programs in India. By focusing on specialization, clinical excellence, research, and academics, Dr. Chaturvedi has led a team of over a hundred oncologists, implementing the Disease Management Group (DMG) model to elevate Max Institute of Cancer Care (MICC) as a leading name in oncology.
Known for his mentorship, Dr. Chaturvedi has earned a reputation as a teacher who nurtures young talent. He has performed surgeries in live workshops, presented at both national and international conferences, and authored numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals.
He has also held leadership roles in national organizations, such as serving as President of the Indian Society of Oncology and the Indian Association of Surgical Oncology. His vision and execution were key in establishing the Indian Cancer Congress, where he served as the first organizing secretary.
