Dr. Naresh Bansal

Dr. Naresh Bansal is a Senior Consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, where he also serves as an associate professor. He is recognized as an astute gastroenterologist, liver specialist, endoscopist and transplant hepatologist.

He earned his MBBS from SMS Medical College Jaipur, MD in General Medicine from Rajasthan University, and DNB in Gastroenterology from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. He has completed advanced courses in liver transplant update, motility disorders, bedside teaching research methods, and radiofrequency ablation.

With over 24 years of experience, including 17 years as a specialist, he manages conditions such as ulcerative colitis, gastrointestinal and liver cancer, appendiceal disease, abdominal pain, jaundice, acidity, and hepatitis B and C. He has performed procedures like colonoscopy, radiofrequency ablation, and surgeries for hemorrhoids and ulcerative colitis. He has authored 100 publications, delivered over 120 lectures, and holds memberships in the American Gastroenterological Association, Indian Society of Gastroenterology, and others. His community work includes free hepatitis vaccination camps and health camps across Delhi, Haryana and Rajasthan, and he has received awards from dignitaries including the Vice President of India and AIIMS director.
