Dr. Sanjay Jain

Dr. Sanjay Jain is a Senior Consultant Gastroenterologist at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, Sarita Vihar, New Delhi. He has over five decades of medical experience, with 28 years dedicated to gastroenterology specialty.

He earned his MBBS and MD in General Medicine from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, and later obtained MRCP (UK) and double FRCP in Gastroenterology from the Royal College of Physicians, London. His academic training also includes graduation and post‑graduation from MAMC, Delhi.

His clinical expertise covers liver diseases, gallbladder and biliary tract disorders, pancreatic conditions, and a broad range of gastrointestinal disorders including inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, gastritis, hemorrhoids, hepatitis B and bladder cancer. He performs diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, ERCP and related procedures.

Dr. Jain has worked in the UK and Middle East for 13 years and has more than 39 years of experience in private and corporate hospitals in India. He currently holds senior consultant positions at Apollo Hospital and has previously served at Moolchand Hospital and Pushpawati Singhania Research Institute. He is a member of several professional societies, including the Indian Society of Gastroenterology and the Indian Association for Study of Liver Diseases.
