Dr. Sufla Saxena

Dr. Sufla Saxena serves as a consultant in Paediatric Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Manipal Hospital, Dwarka Sector 6, Delhi. She brings 24 years of medical experience, with dedicated specialist practice spanning six years.

She earned her MBBS from Devi Ahilya Vishwa Vidhyalaya, Indore in 2002, and obtained Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH) from London in 2016. Her advanced training includes a six-year fellowship in Paediatric Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital and Birmingham Children’s Hospital in the UK.

Dr. Saxena’s clinical expertise encompasses a wide range of pediatric gastrointestinal and liver conditions, including diarrhea, reflux, autoimmune hepatitis, pancreatitis, viral hepatitis, cholecystitis, newborn jaundice, celiac disease, and food allergies. She also addresses growth and developmental concerns in children. Her procedural experience includes liver transplant evaluation and infant and child nutrition management.

After returning from the UK, Dr. Saxena joined Apollo Hospital Indore in 2016, where she established a center of excellence for Paediatric Gastroenterology and Hepatology and initiated the city’s first Celiac Disease Support Group and a dedicated Yellow Baby Clinic for neonatal jaundice. She is an active member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, British and European Societies of Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, the Indian Society of Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, and the Indian Academy of Paediatrics. Dr. Saxena is registered with the Delhi Medical Council (Registration No. 38770).
