Dr. Talha Meeran

Dr. Talha Meeran is one of the few American Board-certified Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologists in India. He holds an MBBS from Topiwala National Medical College (2007), Diplomate of American Board of Internal Medicine (2014), and Diplomate in Cardiovascular Disease (2017). He completed a Cardiology fellowship and an additional year of advanced training in cardiac transplants, left ventricular assist devices (LVADs), and pulmonary hypertension at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, where he served as Chief Cardiology Fellow.

His clinical expertise focuses on advanced heart failure, heart transplant evaluation and management, LVAD implantation, and pulmonary hypertension. He is proficient in procedures such as cardiac catheterisation, echocardiography, Holter monitoring, treadmill testing, and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring.

Dr. Meeran has received several honors, including the Best Poster for Fellow in Training at the American College of Cardiology meeting (2016), Profiles of Excellence Award at the Maryland ACP meeting (2014), and Chief Cardiology Fellow at Allegheny General Hospital (2016). He is a member of the American College of Cardiology, International Society of Heart and Lung Transplant, American College of Physicians, and Maharashtra Medical Council.

With 19 years of overall experience and 9 years as a specialist, Dr. Meeran currently practices at Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital in Girgaon, Mumbai, where he provides comprehensive care for complex cardiac conditions.
