Dr. Vinit Suri

Dr. Vinit Suri is a Senior Consultant Neurologist with over 41 years of overall experience, including 30 years as a specialist. He currently serves at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, Sarita Vihar, Delhi, and previously worked as a Consultant Neurologist at Moolchand Khairati Ram Hospital.

He earned his MBBS from University of Delhi (1985), MD in General Medicine from University of Agra (1989), and DM in Neurology from University of Delhi (1992). He has been recognized with awards such as a Gold Medal for MBBS finals and multiple merit medals.

His clinical practice includes managing headache, epilepsy, vertigo/giddiness, sciatica and other neurological problems. He performs procedures like Digital Subtraction Angiography, cerebrospinal fluid shunt, brain aneurysm surgery, brain mapping, ventriculoperitoneal shunt and spinal tap. He has contributed to the field through publications, authoring ‘Current Practice in Neurology’ (2005) and serving as Treasurer of the Asia‑Oceanic Epilepsy Congress (2000‑2001).

He is a member of the Indian Stroke Association, Delhi Neurological Association, Indian Academy of Neurology, Neurology Society of India and American Society of Neurology. His registration is with the Delhi Medical Council (1926, renewed 2000). Patients visit him for neurological complaints and he continues to provide consultancy at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals.
